i.am.ultra - blacked out

Wafabike continues to deliver its own models of very high quality! Now we are releasing our 3rd own design, which we are the only one on the market with! It is based on our best-selling "Ultra Fat Beach Cruiser", but has really taken the step to a perfect year-round bike! i.am.ultra - blacked out edition is a lovely crusier with a nice black metallic color and black details.

The engine from Bafang (M600) is centrally mounted at an incredible 120n.m and has a capacity of 25-45km / h (* see specification). We have also put on the latest hub gears from Sturmey Archer which are partly very quiet, but also very robust and powerful. The model is 5-speed. For that, we have chosen belt drive from Gates Carbon, as we slowly but surely replace all chains with belts on our models. Partly to make maintenance easier, as you do not have to lubricate the chain to prevent rust on surface-mounted gears, but also for durability as the belt has a much longer service life than a chain. The bike is thus optimal for year-round commuting / cycling.

The battery is upgraded to 17.5Ah (840wh) as standard, but it is possible to upgrade further to the full 21Ah (1008wh). The hydraulic brakes are also upgraded to Shimano and have 203mm discs both front and rear.

The front fork is upgraded from aluminum to carbon fiber partly because the material is lighter, but also because it is more durable. For the front fork, we have designed our own load grille (available as an option) which is nicely integrated on the carbon fiber fork. The load grille is easy to assemble. Of course, it comes with a package holder at the back, which is pre-assembled but can be easily removed. Integrated on the frame are two pieces of wood (one on each side). By default, Wafabike's logo is printed on these wooden boards (NOTE, deviates slightly from the image), but we can offer other prints as desired, such as a company logo or a name.

i.am.ultra we release in three lovely colors, "summerburst" (orange metallic), "hyper blue" (blue metallic) and "blacked out" (glossy black).

We build our bikes in Borås, Sweden and do not support mass production like most other brands on the market. This means that you not only get a bike that is of high quality, but also a product that is developed with great passion and stands out from the crowd. We develop our products with equity, ie we do not run kickstarter campaigns or the like.
